Who I am
I’m a 43 year old, qualified joiner with a lifetime in manufacture and construction, including nine years as Microvellum manager at Ruby Bay Joinery and project manager/drafter at The Custom Space.
I live in Nelson, New Zealand (originally from the UK) and have been settled here for almost 11 years, with strong roots in the local community.
I’m now offer remote Production Support specialising in Microvellum pipelines.
Experience
My father is a joiner and I grew up on building sites in the UK. 15 years of real-world construction roles lead me to an advanced Joinery Apprenticeship and a residency visa here in New Zealand.
Now I boast almost ten years of daily Microvellum use, including various CAD/CAM/CIM softwares and responsibility for Biesse CNC production
Microvellum software and library management, especially Foundation Library and custom parametric cabinet development
Experience serving multiple cabinetmakers at once, providing drafting, technical support, and training
Project management from design consultation through to installation, in both custom domestic and commercial work

I am based in Nelson, I can remote access your infrastructure and can travel if the situation calls for it

My rates
$80 NZD per hour (No GST)
Fixed-rate projects
I am registered for business and tax in NZ and will invoice per month or by project.
